Round two of the 2016 Maxxis UK National Flat Track Championships put on by the DTRA (Dirt Track Riders Association) series delivered a special two-day event at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling at Peterborough Arena. Sunshine and a well groomed track provided the perfect setting for a superb weekend of flat track action.
Along with round two of the UK race series Pro, Restricted, Rookie, Vintage, Thunderbike, Minibike, Youth Senior and Junior the event also hosted the Trans-Atlantic Trophy that saw the UK’s fastest pro racers take on big names from the USA and the Harley Davidson Hooligan Class Mini Series (stock bikes above 750cc). Geoff Cain led the charge on a Ducati Scrambler with Paul Harrison and Gary Inman on a Harley Davidson Sportster.
The weekend hosted about 50 races par day and it has been an incredible effort for Anthony and all the DTRA staff to get everything running fine like a Swiss watch.
See you at the two day event June 11 and 12 with the first all dirt TT held by the DTRA at Greenfield Farm, Greenfield Alford.

Il secondo round del campionato inglese Maxxis Flet Track 2016 organizzato da DTRA (Dirt Track Riders Association) ha sfornato uno special evento di due giorni al MCN Festival of Motorcycling di Peterborough. Sole e tracciato ben curato hanno creato il setting perfetto per un superbo fine settimana di flat track.
Insieme al secondo round delle categorie Pro, Restricted, Rookie, Vintage, Thunderbike, Minibike, Youth Senior and Junior l’evento ha ospitato anche il Trans-Atlantic Trophy che ha visto gareggiare I piloti UK Pro più forti e grandi nomi dalgi US e l’ Harley Davidson Hooligan Class Mini Series (con moto stock più di 750cc). Geoff Cain ha vinto su Ducati Scrambler con Paul Harrison e Gary Inman su Harley Davidson Sportster.
Il weekend ha ospitato circa 50 gare al giorno ed è stato uno sforzo incredibile per Anthony e tutto il DTRA staff per organizzare tutto come un orologio svizzero.
Ci vediamo al prossimo evento di due giorni 11 e 12 giugno al primo TT per il DTRA a Greenfield Farm, Greenfield Alford.
