Moving through one of our biggest love, the Kawasaki W800 (a perfect basis for customs), we arrive to define this last build specially made for our Santiago, one of the Head of the italian Deus Cafè. A bike lover that was looking for a very special idea for his first custom bike, so we decide to move starting from the famous Gicleur Noir to obtain something of more personal and tailor made, with all the specifications that Santi was looking for.
We start undressing the original bike and to shape new line, then we put very black Sc-Project exhaust and wheels, we modify an original SR tank to work on a Kawasaki with Fuel injection, we made a dedicated saddle, a lot of special parts (like the handmade aluminum body panels), new fenders and lights. Last step, we went to our air-painter Kaos Design that prepare for us the new Metal-K gloss style, a colore that perfect match with the other matt black parts of the bike, and that give us the possibilities to obtain the final effect we were looking for. And we made Santi very happy!
Puntando su uno dei nostri grandi amore, la Kawasaki W800 (una base perfetta per essere customizzata), siamo arrivati a definire l'ultima nostra creazione, pensata espressamente per Santiago, una delle menti che mandano avanti il Deus Cafè italiano. Santi è un vero bike lover, e ovviamente era in cerca di qualcosa di molto speciale per la sua prima vera special, così abbiamo deciso di muoverci partendo dalla mitica Gicleur Noir, per ottenere un qualcosa di ancora più personale e fatto su misura, che avesse tutto quello che Santiago desiderasse in una moto. Così abbiamo iniziato a svuotare, semplificare, alleggerire, per poi mettere uno scarico SC-Project molto nero come i cerchi, per poi adattare un serbatoio SR500 su una moto ad iniezione come la W800, plasmare una nuova sella, diverse parti speciali (come i fianchetti in alluminio battuti a mano), i parafanghi, i fanali e tanto altro. Ultimo, ma non meno importante, siamo andati dal nostro verniciatore Kaos-Design dove abbiamo provato l'ultima finitura lucida della vernice Metal-K, per accoppiarla con un sacco di particolari in nero opaco, così da ottenere esattamente l'effetto cromatico che stavamo cercando. E fare un sacco felice Santiago!
