For over three decades Aussie rock legend, and notoriously self critical Melbourne artist, Stephen Cummings has been quietly, though not all the time, producing fine music and stories. The one time lead singer of the pivotal Australian rock band ‘The Sports’ will take over our back verandah on Sunday night and serve up, for those lucky enough to be there, some of each. Sprouting from the same neck of the woods as Nick Cave & Paul Kelly, Stephen may not command the same journalist inches as the others though some say he should. But don’t take my word for it, make up your own mind. Drop down the Temple this coming Sunday night from about 6:30 onwards, don’t leave your run too late as things are set to hot up. Bob and Andy will be kicking things over with their own eclectic collection of instruments and tunes. The night will wound up then down with the lyrical laptop three, The Barmuda Tryangles liberally dispensing dance beats from most decades.
